Very useful household items


HAND LOTION
  • Use as a shaving foam or gel
  • Polish leather shoes
  • Moisturize hands under gloves, usually when you always put them on
  • Get rid of hair frizz. Dab a little on finger tips and through your hair
  • Get rid of static on clothes like wool or stockings
TOOTHPASTE

  • Whitens rubber shoes
  • Clean a dvd/cd
  • Makes hands smell good
  • Removes marker or crayon marks on the wall

RUBBER BAND

  • Open a tight lid
  • Grip a tool for a firmer grip
  • Extending tight pants by hooking a rubber by the button hole


NAIL POLISH

  • Seal an envelope
  • Tighten loose screws by brushing clear nail polish on screw threads
  • Coat fancy jewelry with a clear nail polish ti prevent from tarnishing
  • Mend a small screen hole by applying a clear nail polish over the spot
TAPE

  • Place tape on wall when hammering to prevent paint from chipping
  • Tape down annoying itchy labels on clothes
  • Secure a candle by wrapping a few layers of tape to fit snugly in the holder


DRYER SHEETS

Place a sheet in a smelly shoes

Clean toilet bowl stain instead of using expensive wipes
Put a fresh sheet on a hard to remove food in a pan with water

  • Remove crayon marks or wax spills
  • Dust hard to reach places
  • Irons out plastic covers or shower curtains
  • Unstuck a photo from an album page
  • Set frosting or icing in a cupcake
