Zach's Sesame Street 1st Birthday Party

Let me all introduce you to my now 17 month old son. Geez! How time flies, one minute I wish he's all grown up so that he won't give me a hard time watching him closely and breastfeeding him. And all of a sudden I would shake my head after thinking those stuff and I'm saying "No, no, no! he can't grow up yet, I'm going to miss my baby, he's tiny little hands, his baby smell, his tiny little hugs and a lot more things. And I said to myself, I will never get tired of him ever, I'm going to spend as much time as I can. It makes my heart sink thinking of those stuff. If I'm going to give an advice to myself, I would say that "Soon, you need to let go so he can fly" Heck yeah! Of course he will, he'll fly much higher. But not right now, he's still my one and only baby Zach. He's first birthday was March 2, and was held at our previous apartments pool area. I prepared my self since January from the invites, to food, giveaways and decors. I bought stuff little by little, by the time his birthday was already near I was good to go! So here are some of his pictures.

Believe it or not, I got this cake last minute from Walmart for $20! So cheap and tasted really delicious!

Very cute backdrop which made Zach really excited as soon as he saw it. $8 (Amazon)
I taped flattened diaper boxes at the back to make it steady and not to look very plastic and transparent when taking pictures.
Goodie bags for 15 kids cost me around $55.
Paper lunch bags (16 pcs) $10 (ebay)
Scholastic books $25 (ebay)
2 bags mini candies and chocolates $20 (Target)
I made this small pictures of  Sesame Street characters in a card stock to represent each  food served.
Plastic table cover $8 (Amazon)
Inflatable salad bar! $10 (Amazon)
One of my favorite discoveries. So cool idea to chill vegetables and salad dressings. So worth it and this one got plenty of compliments!

My boyfriend and I actually debated on this purchase because we found it a bit expensive for a shirt, but the thing is it's very cute and really goes with the theme.
